About The Artist Cora Deane was born July 21, 1914 and died October 1949. She was a well known entertainer throughout the Midwest, Boston, Mass., and the state of Maine. She was a sister of Jeanie, Dee, Willie, and Jimmie Pierson. She was married to Dick Klasi, partner of Jimmie Pierson. They were known as "The Novelty Boys." Cora Deane was known as "The Kansas City Kitty." She played marimba, tap danced and sang.
