About The Artist

Doug played the guitar and did some songs back in 1957 as a member of "The Red River Jamboree" cast. The show was on KFTV radio in Paris, Texas at the Fair Park Coliseum.

Floy Case noted in a 1955 article that Douglas just a teen ager back then and had worked on programs over both KFTV and KPLT in Paris, texas. He also worked personal appearances with Pee Wee Reid's group, Sons of Texas.
