The Valley Ramblers

About The Group

The Valley Ramblers were a group that were popular in the La Grange and Hogansville, Georgia areas in the early 1950s. Nathan Hale, did vocals for the group and his specialty they said was his rendition of the Hank Williams tunes of the day. They got together sometime in 1952.

The act got to play some dates with some notable acts such as Audrey Williams (then the ex-wife of Hank Williams) and the Peach Tree Cowboys (who were appearing on WSB-TV at the time).

Nathan and Becky Hale were brother and sister and were said to have started in show business when they were pretty young.

The trio had a show that broadcast each day at 1:00pm over WTRP out of La Grange, Geogia.
