Glen (The Lonesome Mountaineer) Ramsey

About The Artist Back in 1953, Glenn was working in Asheville, North Caorlina and they called him "The Lonesome Mountaineer". They mentioned that his musical philosophy came from a feeling that music was down from the heart. He worked for radio station WLOS in Asheville at the time and they wrote that "...his sincere, down-to-earth singing style has won him a large number of supporters". At the time, he was hoping to hook up with a band to be able to do personal appearances and meet the fans in person.
