About The Artist

Dean Armstrong was a native of Serena, Illnois. But by 1951, we found Dean was fronting his band, the Arizona Dance Band and working out of Tucson, Arizona. They had a show that aired three times a week over KOPO at 10:30pm. They also played regularly at the Open Door club.
