Faye Wayne
Born:  October 27, 1924

About The Artist

Faye Wayne was her stage name and she worked out of Hayward, California for a while. She was born Ruby Fay Shults and was from Blanchard, Oklahoma. She was the younger sister of the famous disc jockey brother team of Chuck and Jack Wayne that aired over KVSM.

Faye lead her own all-girl seven-piece western dance band and it was known as the Rhythm Roundup Girls". They entertained the folks in the military service in Northern California at the service clubs at bases such as Camp Parks, Hamilton Field and Almaden Naval Air Station.
