About The Artist
Farin West they said got interested in country music around 1942, which gave him the urge to take up guitar lessons in 1943, apparently while in college. In 1944, he left Compton College in California when he was offered a job at an unnamed world-famous night club in Seal Beach, California. His career took him to both coasts - having his own radio show on WALE, a station in Fall River, Massachusetts as well as a show over KGER out of Long Beach, California. A 1957 article mentions he had done some recordings, but no details as to what label were provided. Credits & Sources
