About The Artist Al was a fiddler of some repute out of Western Canada in the 1950's. Around that time he was featured with Vic Siebert and his Sons of the Saddle While with Vic's group, he was recording himself on the Aragon label, where he had released his arrangement of the "Orange Blossom Special". And he kept himself busier than a fast fiddle tune. He had just accepted a position with Canada's largest travelling barn dance which then was aired over CKNX out of Wingham, Ontario. In fact, he was billed as their top fiddling star. At the same time, he was also working as the chief fiddler for Earl Heywood's Serenade Ranch Gang. Credits & Sources
