About The Artist

You have to go back to a log cabin in Burch Ridge, West Virginia in April 1905 when Gay Schwing was born. He had a gang of entertainers on WWVA and the Jamboree. Among them was his daugther, Ramona Schwing and a brother, Herman "Slim" Schwing.

Gay was five feet six inches tall and weighed around 164 pounds back then. He had four children.
