Alice "Lonnie Lynne" LaCour, 76, died Wednesday, January 11, 2012 at Fitzgerald Mercy Hospital, Darby.

Born in Philadelphia, she has been a resident of Folsom for over 20 years.

Mrs LaCour was active with American Legion Post 193, VFW Post 928, Kalmar Nyckel Foundation and the Pine Lands Cultural Society.

She was a Country Bluegrass entertainer who toured through Vietnam and in recent years has entertained at Veterans Hospitals and Nursing Homes.

She was the daughter of the late Alfred B. and Alda Engel Brammer and was also predeceased by her husband Robert C. LaCour who died in 1971. Surviving are her daughter Ramona LaCour of North East, MD, her sister Sally Roth of Glenolden, 2 nieces and a nephew.

The funeral service will be 1 PM Tuesday at Marvil Funeral Home, 1110 Main St., Darby, PA 19023 where friends may call after 12 Noon.

Burial will be private in Arlington National Cemetery.
