NANCY L. DeVINCENT, 92, passed away Thursday, Aug. 4, 2011, at Visiting Nurse & Hospice Home in Fort Wayne.

Born in Blue Island, Ill., she was known as Nancy Lee of "Nancy Lee and the Hilltoppers" and was a Musician for the WOWO Radio "Little Red Barn Show" from 1945 to 1994.

Surviving are her son, Lawrence S (Theresa) DeVincent of Leesburg, Ind.; daughter, Lori P. (James) Deal of Fort Wayne; grandchildren, Melissa Meyer of Atlanta, Ga., Zachary DeVincent of San Francisco, Calif., and Christopher and Matthew Helms of Fort Wayne; great-grandchildren, Ari and Ella Meyer of Atlanta, Ga.; sisters, Rosalie C. Barhydt of Huntertown and Eileen V. Gross of Fort Wayne; and son-in-law, Ralph Helms of Fort Wayne.

She was preceded in death by parents, Frank and Rose Gross; husband, Sam DeVincent; daughter, Diane M. Helms; brother, Frank E. Gross; and sisters, Marie B. Hirst and Frances Gross. Funeral service is 10 a.m. Monday, Aug. 8, 2011 at D.O. McComb & Sons Pine Valley Park Funeral Home, 1320 East Dupont Road with Rev. Matt Tosten officiating.

Calling is from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 7, 2011.

Burial in Highland Park Cemetery, Fort Wayne. Memorials may be made to the Visiting Nurse & Hospice Home.
