Lloyd Thomas Doss of Wallowa died October 25, 2011, at the age of 91.
He was born in Weiser, Idaho, September 26, 1920 to Thomas Arthur and Thursay (Rexroat).
He maarried Naomi Henderson in La Grande Nov. 13, 1942.
They lived in La Grande until he was hired by Bob Wills, and
they moved to Burbank, Calif., in 1949. Lloyd (Tommy) sang with the
Sons of the Pioneers.
They bought the Imnaha store in October 1963 and the family
moved to Imnaha. Lloyd and Naomi moved from Imnaha to Enterprise in
1988. Two years ago the couple moved to Wallowa.
They were members of the Enterprise Christian Church. Lloyd
loved to hunt and fish with his sons.
He was preceded in death by his parents and nine siblings.
He is survived by his wife Naomi of Wallowa; two sons and their
wives, Dennis and Karolyne Doss of Wallowa and Tim and Carol Doss
of Enterprise; four grandchildren; and eight
great-grandchildren.
Services were held at the Enterprise Christian Church Oct. 29,
2011.
