For years Janet had a dream of making a project that would include all of her yodeling songs.

Tommy Allsup had a classic line when he said to her, "55 different yodeling songs on one project Janet? I thought there was only two, Cowboy's Sweetheart and She Taught Me How To Yodel. Janet always thought that was funny.

Well it has happened. Her new 2 CD release has 61 cuts/55 different yodeling songs on it. The first cut is an old 78 of Janet's that was recorded on December 24, 1951 and the second cut is a 1953 recording.

The next set of songs were recorded in 1962. Two of these cuts were never released. Three of them were released in the early 60's. (One on Sims and two on Brookhurst.)

From there it goes to 1966 and to 1981 and on through the 80's, 90's and through 2002 with one song cut this year in May. Many of these cuts have not been available at all and certainly not on a CD.

Everything has been digitally mastered by Phil (genius) York here in Texas. Phil has two Grammy's on his wall for his work. (Willie Nelson's Red Headed Stranger for one.)

The insert booklet is 8 pages of great info for the collector. Dates, session musicians, studios, engineers etc. There are old photo's included inside and the whole project is just outstanding.

Janet said, "It is a dream come true for me."

The price of the 2 CD Boxed set is $35 postage paid.
