About The Group

Back in 1953 in Western New York, you'd find the Radio Ranch Pals group doing their hillbilly entertaining. They worked quite a bit in the upstate New York area and Pennsylvania and in 1953, had only been together for about ten months.

Even still, they managed to appear on many of the top radio stations in the area there. WKBI, WPXY, WTRN and WFRM, all of which were a part of the Allegheny Mountain Network as well as appearing on WLEA and WWHG out of Horwell, NY.

By 1953, they were on WWHG in Hornell every Saturday morning from 6:05am to 7:30am. They were also heard over WFRM in Cloudersport, Pennsylvania every Tuesday evening at 5:15pm.
