Southern Valley Boys

About The Group

This quartet of hillbilly entertainers were being heard over radio station KDZA out of Pueblo, Colorado in 1955. They were also busy making personal appearances around the country. Their popularity was such that an article mentions that 'one of their fan club presidents', might indicate they had more than one fan club. This may be the same group we found to have listed as part of the Louisiana Hayride, which may indicate that their decision to make appearances around the country may have paid off a bit.
