About The Group Back in August 1950 radio station WGTC in Greensville, North Carolina organized a group called the Bar X Boys. Their reputation spread a bit and one personal appearance was at the famed Eddie Davis restaurant in New York, Leon and Eddie's. (Note: Eddie Davis we think is the gentleman in the center of the picture in the coat and tie as the article mentions he's pictured with the group.)
