About The Group They called them the Rhythm Rangers and they were on the WWVA and the Jamboree out of Wheeling, WV back in the mid to late 1930s. Note that one of their members was the legendary Grandpa Jones, who was later elected to the Hall of Fame and was a long time member of the WSM Grand Ole Opry and one of the cast on the television show called "Hee Haw".
