About The Artist Along about 1951, Montana Ray, the Yodeling Kid as they called him was entertaining audiences over WMUR and WMUR-TV in Manchester, New Hampshire. Slim Marion also appears to be at the station during this time, too. His specialty was doing tunes, blues and yodels in the style of the legendary Jimmie Rodgers. We've found indications in articles about Rosalie Allen's early career that she met up with a Ray Montana and is possibly this artist as Rosalie was also a fine yodeler herself. Credits & Sources
