About The Artist

Harvey Fink was playing out of Watertown, Wisconsin back in the late 1950s and recording the old style western tunes on the Mountain label. He was noted for doing some of the old A.P. Carter tunes such as "Mid the Green Fields of Virginia" and "The Fate of Dewey Lee" back then.

The article we found mentioned his songs were "...strictly in the old-time mountain style". They said he was a "...connoisseur of all Western tempos". His popularity was such that they mentioned he had several fan clubs for him.
