About The Artist Milton (Milt) Dickey first appears on the scene in 1953 as a disc jockey at KCMO in Kansas City, Missouri, doing a duet with Scotty Nelson at 6:30am each day. He was also working the KCMO All Star show from 1:45 to 2:15pm each day as well. He had sort of a catchy slogan with his shows, "...We're not through with what Dickey can do." He was said to have written several tunes, including country and gospel at that time. He also did duty on the KCMO Cowtown Jubilee show from 8:00pm to 9:30pm each Saturday night. He appeared occasionally on the "KCMO Hillbilly Disc Jockey Show" as well. He also recorded for the Sho-Me record label in the early 1950s. Credits & Sources
