About The Artist Jerry Case was one of the younger hillbilly singers on the scene in 1955 or so, when he was all of eleven years old. He'd head for guitar practice after attending sixth grade classes at school. He was out of Paris, Texas at the time. He got a name from his guitar playing, but could also sing. He'd been heard on radio stations KPLT and KFTV, both in Paris. Credits & Sources
