About The Artist

Jimmy Kish was a Western band leader in the 1950s at least. In 1955, they mentioned he had been with radio station WHK in Plainsville, Ohio for two years.

He was a bit of an all-around entertainer, having worked in motion pictures, radio, television and records.

In 1954, he was working in Cleveland, Ohio on a weekly televsion show that aired over WEWS that was called "Ten-O-Two Ranch" that also starred the legendary Pee Wee King.

IN July 1954, he got married and spent his honeymoon in San Antonio, Texas. While there, he met up with an old friend, Red River Dave and appeared a few times over WAOI-TV with him.
