About The Artist

Barefoot Brownie Reynolds was an all-around hillbilly entertainer. He could play the bass and harmonica, but was also one of the better comedians, too. He appeared with a variety of folks, including Red Foley on the WSM Grand Ole Opry and also on the Renfro Valley Barn Dance. He is said to have appeared on many of the other Saturday night jamboree shows.

He got his career started working with Pa and Ma McCormick on their "Top Of The Morning" show over WLW in Cincinnati.
