Holly Garrett
Born:  January 31, 1941
WWVA Original Jamboree

About The Artist

Holly Garrett is a young wife and mother from Fombell, Pennsylvania who became a Jamboree, USA regular for several years in the 1970's and into the 1980's. Most of her personal appearances took place in the heart of the WWVA listening area: northern West Virginia, western Pennsylvania, and eastern Ohio.

She had a contract with Mega Records in the mid-1970's, but as she had home and family responsibilities and refused to travel extensively to promote her first release, the label management severed her contract.

In 2020, she continues to reside in Fombell. As one of her four children is on kidney dialysis, she does not travel out much, but does appear on rare occasions at the revamped Wheeling Jamboree (no longer affiliated with WWVA and inactive since 2019), and the revamped Sagebrush Roundup (no longer on WMMN). She sometimes sings while another Jamboree veteran, JoAnn Davis, does recitations.
