Abe Link
and his Western Spotlighters

About The Artist

A. Blink and his Western Spotlighters were providing country entertainment for the folks in the Canton, Ohio area back in 1956. Their personal appearances took them to the common venues of the era, night spots, theatres, taverns and occasional television guest spots.

As one might suspect, A. Blink was not the real name of the leader of this group - he was Charles Secrest, who changed it to something simpler to spell.

The group were recording for the Canton Records company back then and had recorded six tunes (however, no information was provided on the tunes or whether they were released).
