Dusty Miller and his Colorado Wranglers were an early act in country music, appearing to have started in the early 1930s in Colorado. From there, the only other mentions we have seen were their engagements on the East coast. In 1946, Richard H. Keeler reported in his "News From Old New England" column in Mountain Broadcast and Prairie Recorder magazine that they were doing a daily 11:30am show over WCAX in Burlington, Vermont. Claude Dugay reported in his "A Full Line" column in a 1949 issue of National Hillbilly News that the Dusty and his band were still working at WCAX.

Mr. Keeler provided some details about Dusty's group. The band originally formed about 1932 (the article published in 1946 indicates they had been formed 14 years prior to that) in Guinnison, Colorado. The band may have been unique in some ways as its stated they were '...real wranglers, or men who whork with horses, just as cowboys work the cattle.'

Further, the 1946 article mentions that the band underwent some personnel changes during its move East, but the members in 1946 were provided.
