Dick Smith, they wrote back in 1955, was employed in November 1954
over radio station WFRM in Coudersport, PA as a "Hillbilly entertainer".
As he built his popularity there, he started up a Saturday afternoon
show known as the "Allegheny Mountain Jamboree".
It appears prior to his stint at WFRM, he was also at such stations as:

to 7:00am called the "Chuck Wagon Roundup" as well as an afternoon show
from 3:30pm to 4:00pm on a show that was called the "Mid-afternoon Jamboree".
