Tiny Tim
WHO Iowa Barn Dance Frolic

About The Artist

Tiny Tim was a 12-year old star on the WHO Barn Dance Frolic show over radio station WHO in Des Moines, Iowa in the 1930s. The old souvenir program touted him as the "World's Champion Juvenile Old-Time Fiddler". They said when he got "hot" on the fiddle, he could bring the house down. He was said to be able to play more of the old fiddle tunes than even some old-timers. But during the week, he was just a regular kid attending school and his name was Mahlon Wilcox.
