About The Artist

Nancy Lee and the Hilltoppers had a long, successful run at Ft. Wayne, Indiana's, WOWO and the Hoosier Hop show. They started there back in 1944 and were still going strong through the early 1950s.

In fact, when we find out about them in 1952, they had four programs a week on WOWO:

  • Little Red Barn - aired 6:00am to 7:00am, Monday through Saturday
  • Hilltop Melodies - aired from 7:30 to 8:00am, Monday through Saturday
  • Sam & Nancy's Friendly Kitchen, 9:30 to 10:00pm on Thursdays
  • Roy Hansen's Folk Music Time, airing from 1:00 to 2:00pm on Saturdays.

While we have them listed as Nancy Lee and the Hilltoppers, you will also find out information separately on the Hilltoppers, too.
