Helen Fish
KWGB Rhythm Jamboree Bandwagon

About The Artist

Helen Fish was the wife of steel guitarist Stan Fish. She was known as an accordion player and got many requests to do the polka numbers. While with her husband on the KWGB Rhythm Jamboree Bandwagon show, she did her first vocalizing, though she hadn't tried that until then. It seems, as it sometimes does, fate stepped in as one performance, they had a vacancy in the show and they asked Helen to try a vocal number. She did well enough that she became a regular vocalist with the outfit, too.
