About The Artist From what we can tell, Tommy Mayersky started entertaining folks in Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Ohio and New York about 1947 or so. At about mid-1953, he was singing with Bud Moore's group. He made his radio debut over WCPA out of Clearfield, Pennsylvania and did appearances all across the eastern seaboard. He had done guest shots on shows with such known hillbilly acts as Hawkshaw Hawkins, Cowboy Copas, Tex Ritter, Hank Williams, and Gene Autry. He was said to have one of the largest collections of cowboy clothes on the east coast. Credits & Sources
