About The Artist
Cleve Bass was one of Jackson, Mississippi's favorite entertainers. We learn from colunist Sammy Forsmark that Cleve started his band back about 1932 or 1933. Richard McIntosh and Gus Loeb from that original band, were still with Cleve around 1941. Cleve had added new members to the band, but no other details were mentioned.
