About The Artist Billy Worth was a new MGM recording artist in 1955. He got some good exposure by appearing on WSM's Grand Ole Opry on Saturday, July 30, 1954 and then later, on the famed Ernest Tubb's Midnight Jamboree on August 13. His first release on MGM was supposed to be "Because I Cried" that had "There's Good In Everybody" on the flip side. He wrote a few tunes, too. Carl Smith did his "There's a Bottle Where She Used To Be" and Johnny Horton did his "Journey With No End". Little Jimmy Dickens was said to have recorded one of his tunes, too, but they didn't say which one. He got so popular back then, that they had two fan clubs going for him - one in Wisconsin and another in Fayetteville, Tennessee.
